Yo La Tengo - And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out ..
Insanely good.

One of my favorites, for sure.

New(ish) Blood Red Shoes.

Fucking brilliant. Move over The Black Keys, you’ve got some whippersnappers on your tale…

Tune. I didn’t even realise they had a new album on the horizon. I’m so out of touch with all my favourite bands it’s shocking.

Noel Gallagher tomorrow night.

LOOKING. FORWARD.

He was on form in Sheffield last Sunday for sure. Make sure to watch Reverend and the Makers as support too if it is them, they’re a really hard working bunch and Jon McClure seriously deserves a big break in music.

The V Festival Headliners appear to have been leaked today:

Headliner - Stone Roses

Co-Headliners - Killers & Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

Will definately be going to the second day if this is the case.

Fuck knows how people find their schtick funny.

Sitting through Genesis records, it’s great growing up and listening to bands your dad hates.

Crikey, there’s a band out there worse than Nickelback. Boys & girls, I give you My Darkest Days.

Imagine Nicelback’s angsty teenage sons wearing their mum’s make up & thinking nu-metal is the ‘future’ of music.

EDIT : Just read they were ‘discovered’ by Chad Kroeger! COINCIMENTAL

You mean it isn’t?!?!

Listened to a ton of Agoraphobic Nosebleed last night, and an Axis of Light record came in the post today.

Not sure how many Ramblers are fans of the solo stuff Slash has been doing last couple of years, but here is his one of the tracks from his new album.

It’s not exactly up there with Guns n Roses or Velvet Revolver, but I like it. A bit of a grower.

Listening to Korn’s cover of ‘Word Up’.

It’s so unbelievably crap that’s it’s gone full circle and is actually quiet enjoyable.

Brilliant album, they said they’ll do something when the time comes. I suspect it will be after Miles’ 2nd album and another Arctic Monkeys album.

Turner said there’s a chance they will start recording at the end of the year.

Sounds like old skool ETID so far (only couple of songs in). Which is of course a good thing, looking forward to giving this a proper listen too. Genuinely one of my favourite bands, they make me want to simultaneously punch people in the face, steal their girlfriends & get my f’ing dance on.

*Plays Hot Damn! LOUD*

Leeds/Reading line up has been “leaked” as is tradition…

8pxov9

I’d go and see 10 of those acts; The Cure, Dizzee Rascal, City & Colour, Dinosaur Jr., Mumford & Sons, Rival Schools, Bad Brains, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden and Rancid.

I still don’t think it’s worth the money or being surrounded by idiotic children too excited about being away from their parents for the first time.

Also, apparently festivals offer price plans to pay for tickets these days… just shows how ridiculously priced the tickets are really.

I saw NZCA/Lines at Madame Jojo’s last night.

Considering they’ve made it on to the 6 Music playlist, I was well surprised that there was only about 50 people there.

They were really good and it only cost six quid (that my lady friend paid for) so I was well happy.
