Coventry are up the proverbial shit creek without arms, never mind a fucking paddle.

Big game on saturday. We need a good reaction from the WHU game and you guys just need something.

You are having a great start to the season, don’t suppose you’d let us have Angry Ant back?

Yours is one of the away games I’ve got ear marked for this season.

Incredible start. SO exciting. Haven’t won our first 3 games for years and years and years.
I read somewhere we’ve only dropped 4 points from our last available 51 surprise

Maybe I wont go to the away game at your gaff then scared

Also thank fuck Buckley is out injured, still have memories of last season where he made the left flank his own. Feel confident that Taylor would be able to mark him out OK, but still glad he doesn’t have to tonight. Think we’ll deal fine with Mackail-Smith, or so I hope. Just glad to get two of the newer clubs in the division out of the way now, though.

We’ve never won our first 3 league games in our entire history, would be great to keep the momentum going.

Has anyone’s optimism for the season already vanished? After losing to Bury, I just want to fast forward to May.

I want the season to end now. I have said all along that Sheridan has failed us this summer and no other fan believed it. They’re all on my side now.

I’m still realistic about our chances but so far it’s nice to prove a few people wrong that think we’d struggle this season and be unable to compete at all.

Go through August unbeaten and it’ll probably skyrocket to ‘we’ll win the league’, hah.

I guarantee there are already hundreds of City fans saying this.

We look decent on the wings and fairly ok at the back but give away sloppy goals still.
Its up front i’m worried, Iwelumo is dog shit at the moment, and Sordell is having to do all the running. Not sure what the atmosphere will be like as we often take a good support your way but with both teams stuggling i doubt there will be many in attendance.

We have 1 decent striker, the others dogshit. The team will be full of academy players. Our full backs are poor going forward and at defending. We have no hope.

Two games in a row we have put crosses in and made decent runs but there has been no final ball. Thankfully though Doyley and Dickinson keep boombing forward but we never seem to have anyone in the box to get on the end of their crosses.
Compared to last season we have a fairly experienced squad. All of the team except for Forsyth have at least a full seasons experience in the championship but its just silly errors and lack of attack minded players in the centre that is killing us.

We’ll huff and puff but i the lack of striking ability is going to make it a hard one to call.

Lallana will be a key man for us for years to come (unless he’s snatched)

I went to this, Lallana and Cork dicked all over the Ipswich midfield, however I’ve never seen a defence as incompetent as Ipswich’s, bar Cresswell. I support neither team, but Southampton’s away support was brilliant.

I’m a bit surprised by that win, we badly needed it and they managed to pull it off.

Maynard has already got 3 in 3, wouldn’t like to see him leave, but he’s got the ability to be playing at a higher level.

Suddenly looking a bit better now , sounds like we should have scored a lot more than we did as well .

Fantastic point for us tonight at Millwall. I don’t think many teams will find a way back from 2-0 at The Den.

Couldn’t find owt when I searched so if there is something then I apologies, we need somewhere to discuss our teams.

We won 3-1 today at home to MK Dons, cracking win. I was expecting a loss or at the very best a point but to keep our 100% home record going is a big boost. 8th in the table and we need to sort our away record out and Stevenage on Tuesday ngiht could be a good place to start.

How did you get on today? thoughts for the season etc

2-0 win against Doncaster, good for Earnie to get back to scoring ways.

6th after 6 games, chuffed so far. Next few games (Blackpool/Leicester/Southampton) will give a clearer indication if we can be up there in the pack for top 2.

Karl Robinson - bright young management prospect.  Fuck off.  Time wasting from the first minute and lots of “injuries”, excellent tactics they are.  Try taking some shots, for all your possession you might get something.

I just knew that McLean was going to score against us today. Pissed off at our fans booing him though considering we wouldn’t be anywhere near The Championship without his goals in the last few years. Since putting 7 past Ipswich, we haven’t scored.

Hartlepool still unbeaten in the league. I dont even think we’re that good, we still manage to concede a goal nearly every game.

Stevenage away tonight, they seem to have started pretty well for a promoted side. This match and Yeovil away on Saturday are perfect opportunities to sort out our away form. A point at Charlton last week should give us some confidence, we’re scoring goals and hopefully we can put a few past Stevenage.

It turns out watching the 90th ranked club play the 92nd isn’t as much fun as it sounds. Barnet aren’t very good, we’re worse. I’m a bit too upset to go into much further detail, I will however say that the officials were the worst I’ve ever seen, Barnet’s second goal came from a free kick that appears to have been awarded due to one of our players being offside, the problem was he was well within our own half, it wasn’t close at all. This was just one absurd decision of many, I’m still fuming.

Just giving a quick shout-out to Chris Wood who scored a hat trick for Brum on the weekend. He’s only 19 and had been getting a fair bit of criticism from Blues fans so to go out and have such a great game and get the fans on side was great to see.

Having played a few games in NZ I can tell you the standard is pretty dire so for him to be doing this well at such an age could do the game there the world of good. He’s now scored four goals in five appearances in the league (plus one in two Euro appearances) which is a record even Josef Bican would be mildly happy with (especially had Bican come from New Zealand).
312736_258443747522113_125484054151417_851065_659369273_n.jpg
He’s no doubt single-handedly distracted all of New Zealand from the Rugby World Cup.

edit: Also respect to K-Phil who literally doesn’t know how not to score. 38 and still going strong.

Finally all the Sheffield United fans I know might stop calling League 1 a ‘Micky Mouse league’. In other news, Leon Clarke now has 2 in 2 and we played very well in a 1-0 win.

Up yours Di Canio.

He should do OK at this level Sir Jack, he scored some decent goals for us in the Championship to be fair, he was just massively lazy and seemingly unable to grasp the very basics of the offside rule a lot of the time.  Sheridan’s had him before at Oldham so he may be able to get the best out of him, for a while at least.

Oh and don’t worry about Blades fan, I still laugh at how during their 5 minutes in the Prem, they referred to the Coca Cola Championship as the fizzy pop league as if they’d left it forever.  The word “deluded” was invented for them.

We (Bournemouth) actually have a 25% clause on Lallana which is nice. There is a very big chance he could become on of the biggest transfer fee we’ve ever received…And he’s not ours…Its strangely satisfying and slightly demoralising at the same time knowing that.

Went to Leyton Orent vs Cherries last night. Bradders completely changed the formation and it worked really well. Although the ‘Os’ were shocking, I was highly impressed with the new lad up front. Wes Thomas, stong fast and seemed the ball was glued to his feet at times. Extremely impressed. Good poachers goal as well.

Oh and Scotty Parkers Brother in law, Harry Arter looked fantastic. Was literally everywhere, Richard. Just need the defence to gel and get a couple of players on loan and our squad should be more than good enough to stay up.

Its odd talking about staying up after the past couple of seasons…...............scared

Two pretty vociferous and unpleasant derbies in the Championship today. My boys versus Derby and Milwall v West Ham.

Predos? I’d take draw, the way things are going (but if I was a neutral observer I’d back Derby). Reckon WHU will give Millwall a bit of slapping around and take the away win.

EDIT: Andy Reid could just make my day yet…

2nd EDIT: Maybe not.

Seriously hilarious from Forest. Sure McLaren will have a good moan about not having any money to spend

451 for us with Miller the lone striker at Blackpool, think he’ll benefit a lot more from it.
