I think its much needed post to appreciate my favourite show on tv at the moment. Its not been picked by any UK channels again this year which is a shame because its beyond brilliant.

Who’s with me?

One of the best shows to ever hit tv.  Though the character of Pierce and all the story lines around him just annoy me.

Abed and Troy are fantastic and this is what made me fall in love with them.

In reality I could watch a show just with those 2.

Oh yeah, and the original Paint Ball episode is genius.  Wish they hadn’t done the sequel even though it was funny too, it just took away a little from the first version.

This show is right up there with Arrested Development, Firefly and the second season of Family Guy.  Brilliant.

Firefly is my favorite show of all time.  I’m going to make a thread about it now.

Community is amazing.

I missed Season 2 because I was in Germany, but Season 1 was excellent.  Especially the paintball/war movie episode.

The first season is one of the funniest debut seasons ever, the second season was a bit patchy. Pierce and Shirley are easily the two weakest characters yet they dominated the main storylines from the second half of the last season.

Pierce a weak character? He’s easily the funniest punchline-type they have. Shirley and Annie are pretty worthless, apart from building storylines around. And looks, in Annie’s case.

I feel like I should love Community, but somehow it’s just ‘ok’ to me. Not a patch on Parks & Rec, 30 Rock or Modern Family, let alone Arrested Development or The Office.

it is… if i may.. streets ahead of modern family. the first season of MF was fantastic but it got so much more wholesome when they realized emmys were on the table. its not very good anymore frankly

and office jumped the shark seasons ago.

community is so up to date and different. but like arrested development no one appreciates it enough… they’ll bring it back 5 years after it gets inevitably cancelled

The Office is as good now as at any point since the third season. It probably peaked at that point but it’s only slightly below that now and still better than everything else on TV.

I’m a recent convert to it too, about mid-way through season 2 at the moment.

I don’t think it’s quite as good as everyone seems to think although I’m still enjoying it. A bit too cutesy at times for me.

Also, only just started it watching It’s Always Sunny… recently and absolutely loved it.

I loved the last episode, one of my favourite episodes along with the documentary episode.

If you’ve seen the new one, it’s worth giving this a read.

I just watched the latest episode and it has got to be one of the smartest and funniest episodes since the show began. I read the slash film report and it goes into it it brilliantly. Simple my favourite tv show right HANDS DOWN.

I’m going to add to what everyone else is saying and say that the Parellel Universe episode was awesome. Community is pretty much my favourite current comedy show, but then it pull out episodes like that one and the paintball ones (and quite a few others) which just blow your mind with how well they’re written.

*appreciates*

Enjoy it more and more during the second season, also loving the amount of times the Wilhelm scream sound effect is used.

I think this season has been a little more hit and miss but is starting to settle now so big smiles, parks and recreation, joint favourite with the US office atm though.
