Loved Fallout 3 but will wait until New Vegas has had some patches to fix some of the plethora of bugs and quirks present at launch, it will probably drop a few quid in price in the sales before Christmas too.

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit is being made by Criterion (Burnout devs) this year, demo is out already and pretty decent.

Given how much time I sunk into MW2, Black Ops is probably a no-brainer as loads of folk I know will buy it too.

Cannot wait till Blizzard give a name on their 4th game, announcement will most likely be at BlizzCon 2012 or 2013

yeah I also thought cod 4 was better just much simpler, but I prefer halo reach way more so much fun.

I love FIFA never liked pes, I think the general feeling from reviews is that FIFA beat pes this year

I really find Halo Reach frustrating, not playing with a team and having to play Elite Slayer, which is absolutely awful.

I for one like Elite Slayer quite alot. Game modes like infection really remind me of timesplitters which is obviously a great thing. And yes it’s slightly frustrating but then when you get a killing streak or overkill which makes it worthwhile. Halo is not as frustrating as getting gunned down by a chopper gunner everytime you respawn or getting noob tubed or commando tactical knifed in my opionion

I am on xbox (scoop05333) if anyone wants to add me and i play mostly halo reach, fifa 11 and madden 11. Obv Black ops is pre ordered. I also play a fair amount of Starcraft II (Plat) so if anyone wants some gives hit me up. I used to play WoW and loved it but quit 2 years ago but might give the new expansion another go.

MW2 was a god awful game, go play COD 4 if you want a decent game.

To be honest, I don’t have a clue. I’m very much a casual gamer, except when it comes to FM which I’m playing right now in fact (still playing FM2007 as Woking…). It’s my birthday in a couple of weeks though so always become a little more interested in what’s out during this time of year to ask for as a present…

I enjoyed the last couple of CoD:MW games, but wasn’t too fussed by World At War, although the Russian sniper level was superb. Was wondering if anyone had got their hands on it yet to provide the first thoughts.

Ah interesting stuff! Always wondered why such a succcessful franchise got passed around two developers.  The only good thing about World at War was Nazi Zombies, the rest of the game was severely average imo.

This, of course, is the big worry about Black Ops. I won’t buy it until I’ve played it at a mate’s or something - WaW wasn’t a patch on MW in terms of playability.

Got home today to my brand new ps3, Black Ops, FIFA and Heavy Rain.

Really enjoyed Black Ops, no major gripes with it at all. Will probably play the others at some point over the weekend.

I’m desperately waiting on Dead Space 2 to come out. The first one had me replaying it over and over. Good scary fun.

COD is class, Nuketown was such a mess but incredible to play. Everyone just rushing about.

The best mulitplayer shooter on any system is Battlefield Bad Company 2 easily wipes the floor with MW2 and it stupid perks….and it has destructible scenery easily the best game i have played in yonks.
