I’m sorry but IMO you can dislike someone as a footballer, but you cannot wish ill/bankrupcy on a person that you have never met.

I don’t think i’d usually find it funny, but for some reason seeing Lee Hendrie’s face next to the word bankrupt is funny.

Does that make me a bad person?

Bin Laden - Terrorist that’s killed millions of innocent people

Hendrie - Not a very good footballer

Yeah, I can understand why you’d compare them both…...................

Oh. Could you explain it more clearly, please? I think the complexity of it went over my head.

I didn’t miss the point, it’s almost impossible to miss. I just didn’t comment on it.

I’m sorry but IMO you can dislike someone as a footballer, but you cannot wish ill/bankrupcy on a person that you have never met.

Nonsense.

Just four examples:

Burning £50 notes in nightclubs to show off
Asking ladies in front of their boyfriends if they knew who he was
Asking fellow players he was playing against if they want to wash his Porsche
Asking youth players he was playing against if they want a ride in his Bentley

He was paid £24,000 per week, you really think he lost it all on a bad investment or by helping charity?

Or by being an arrogant prick who pissed the greatest opportunity in the world up the wall?

Totally agree- I’ve met him a few times around Solihull/bham and at the ‘height’ of his villa career was always out at the local nightclubs doing the “do you know who I am” stuff.

Same.  I specifically remember when he was meant to be serving one of his driving bans, when he rocked up on in Solihull a Friday night in some swank car - I can’t say for sure whether he had actually driven it or some of his poser mates, but he was doing his best to be the Big I Am.

Also I know a girl whose cousin was seeing him for a bit, said he was a relentless bellend.

But did you understand? Bin laden didn’t kill millions. He did plot the deaths of thousands of people a bit like Hitler (that figure was in the millions). He was a bad man but you exagerated the point.

To compare one of the evilest men to have lived for decades to a footballer is OTT.

I realise the point you were making was right and Collinasbarber was wrong in comparing them. EETS was right in saying you can’t judge a person like Hendrie before you meet him. It’s OK to judge Ossama though as he was an evil, evil man who was ressponsible for the deaths of many people.

I must have missed the caveat that you CAN wish ill on a really evil guy. I wasn’t comparing them was just trying to illustrate a point.

Much of his Billy Big Bollocks behaviour stems from the merciless bullying he received at school.

And it was absolutely merciless.
