Here’s a sneak peek at what he’s been up to:

The boy Speller can’t do anything without providing commentary over the top either. Listen to him excitedly proclaim: ‘I’m firing a gun!’

As mentioned on this week’s Ramble, here’s footage of Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh being abused by Arsenal fans.

It’s amazing how often the fans come across as much, much worse than the players in these sorts of incidents. It sometimes makes us realise why some players treat some fans with such contempt.

Oh, and apologies for the advert at the beginning.

Clarence Seedorf is used to winning things. A man who now owns an estimated 4,598 major trophies as a result of his glittering football career, his status as a legend of the game is secure.

But where did it all begin for Clarence? Well, as it turns out, on a gameshow in Holland in which he won a colour TV. Obviously.

Just look at him at 14 (yes 14 years old, we know he looks about 25), the confident smile of a born winner, absolutely sure he’ll go home with the prize.
